Exploit Boston! came to life in 2002. We’re a guide to music events and happenings around Boston plus concert photos, band videos and our own internet radio station featuring Boston bands 24/7. First and foremost, we are music fans. We write about what we love — the bands that inspire us to go out on all nights of the week to explore the incredible music scene Boston has to offer.

The Team

Sooz, Founder + Chief Troublemaker

A native of Nebraska, Sooz moved to Boston “for the summer” in 1994. She’s a Boston music tastemaker and photographer who enjoys sharing her passion for the local music scene in Boston. Sooz has been known to host rock and roll after parties featuring the world’s tastiest blueberry vegan pancakes. When she’s not writing about the next show you should check out, she does event planning with her company Awesome Office Party. An early adopter of most everything on the web, Sooz was one of the first users on Twitter in 2006. [blog + twitter]

Al Willis, Technology Kingpin

Al is “the tech guy” for Exploit Boston!’s website. He stays on top of all the new happenings with WordPress (the web content system we use to run Exploit Boston!) and the latest in web standards and new technologies (HTML5, iOS development, etc).  A native of Boston, he has been working in the web and IT worlds since 1992 and survived fourteen years working at MIT. Beyond his work with Exploit Boston!, Al is a Mac and web consultant. You can also find him at the latest vegan restaurant opening in Boston and out dancing with his house heads. [blog + twitter]
