Photos of Rose Polenzani CD Release Party with Session Americana
October 4, 2008 by Sooz
Rose Polenzani celebrated the release of her new album “When The River Meets the Sea” with two shows at the Lizard Lounge on September 25th and 26th. I’ve been listening to Rose’s music since her first album “Dragersville” was released ten yeas ago; but this time around she outdid herself. Rose invited her music collaborators Session Americana on the recording. My favorite song on the new CD is “If I Could Hit You.” Buy the new music on her website either as a physical CD or as a digital download. I recommend buying the physical CD — it’s got great packaging and artwork plus lyrics for all the songs. On the SoozAwesomenessRating Scale, “When The River Meets the Sea” gets five out of five stars. This is music that is inspiring, fun and real.
Here are photos I took at the first night of the CD release parties at the Lizard Lounge.
