Tuesday, November 27th – Sub Rosa @ Lizard Lounge
21+, $5, 9pm doors/9:15 show, Lizard Lounge, 1667 Mass Ave, Cambridge
Rose Polenzani hosts a monthly event with friends and strangers at the Lizard Lounge called Sub Rosa. You’ll likely see members of Session Americana join her on stage plus a “stranger” not part of her group of usual suspects.

Wednesday, November 28th – Jennifer Kimball @ Lizard Lounge

21+, 7:30pm doors/8pm show, Free Admission, Lizard Lounge, 1667 Mass Ave, Cambridge
Jennifer Kimball is joined by Duke Levine and Kevin Barry for the night’s “Soul Low” free show. In the 1990s, Jennifer was one half the duo The Story along with Jonatha Brooke. Pay five bucks to stay to see the always stellar Dennis Brennan Band at 9:30pm.

Thursday, November 29th – Tourfilter DJ Night @ River Gods
21+, 9pm-1am, Free Admission, River Gods, 125 River St., Cambridge (3 blocks from Central Square)
Based on the idea behind Tourfilter, the ridiculously useful concert tracker website, Tourfilter DJ night features bands coming to town in the next couple of weeks. The night features Brad Searles from Bradley’s Almanac.

Friday, November 30th – Broken River Prophet @ TT The Bear’s Place
18+, first band at 9pm, $10 (TicketWeb), TT The Bear’s Place, 10 Brookline Street, Central Square, Cambridge
How can you not love a band that describes their music as psychedelic+country+shoegaze? Broken River Prophet goes on at 11pm with The Cold War and The Unstoppable Black Clouds starting out the evening at 9pm and 10pm respectively. Brooklyn’s White Magic ends the evening with their set at midnight.

Saturday, December 1st – Boston Music Awards @ The Orpheum Theater
All Ages, 7:30pm, $35-$100, The Orpheum Theater, 1 Hamilton Place, Boston
The 20th Annual Boston Music Awards celebrates the Boston music scene. The night has a random assortment of acts that are directly based in Boston or have some sort of Boston-related connection. Township and Bobby Brown on the same stage? Sure, why not!

Sunday, December 2nd – Milo Jones @ PA’s Lounge
18+, 8:30pm, $7 for 21+/ $10 for 18-20, PA’s Lounge, 345 Somerville Ave, Somerville
Indie crooner Milo Jones returns to PA’s Lounge on Sunday night. Also playing are Cuddle Magic, Beatbeat Whisper and Ash Reiter (on tour from San Francisco).
