Maybe it’s cliché to say that The Blizzard of 78 is one of the greatest bands ever. But … The Blizzard of 78 is one of the greatest bands ever. They’re starting to resurface now that their upcoming album “Book of Lies” is getting ready to be set free on December 9th. (I cannot wait to hear a proper recording of “Mercy.” The video from their 2006 NEMO performance is a decent stand-in for now.) This Boston+Providence band brings their supercharged soul to Precinct in Somerville’s Union Square on Friday, September 26th. The show starts at 10pm with The Kickbacks then TB078 at 11pm and The Crushing Low at Midnight. Good times … serious, serious good times.
