Exploit Boston! TV Episode #6: Three Day Threshold Covers “All Right Now”

February 2, 2009

Kier Byrnes and his band Three Day Threshold invited the crowd on stage at Rodfest 7 to sing “All Right Now.” It was a fitting end to the benefit concert that happens every year in memory and celebration of Kier’s cousin Greg “Rodney” Moynahan.

If there is an award for “best authentic stage presence of any rock and roll guy in Boston”, Kier Byrnes would win.

Here’s a video from 1969 of the original version of “All Right Now” by Free.

Exploit Boston! TV stopped by Atwood’s Tavern in Cambridge for Three Day Threshold’s “good country gone bad.” Here’s a video of the band covering The Rolling Stones’ “Honky Tonk Women” with the help of friends who jumped up on stage to help out on tambourine and two cowbells. Speaking of cowbell, if you’ve got an iPhone and you don’t have this yet, you need it — the More Cowbell iPhone app. You can tap along to all of Three Day Threshold’s songs.
